Welcome to our after-school care program, where adventure awaits! We're thrilled to offer a wide range of half-day and full-day activities specifically tailored for NDIS participants. Our programs are all about embracing the great outdoors, fostering a deep connection with nature, and building strong peer relationships along the way.

FARMERS MARKET & COOKING
Embark on a culinary adventure at the farmers market, selecting fresh, sensory-rich ingredients. Back in the kitchen, they transform these finds into delicious dishes, honing executive function skills crucial for daily tasks. Through teamwork, they cultivate social interaction and problem-solving abilities. This holistic class not only aimed at fostering culinary prowess but also to boost confidence and independence. By integrating real-world experiences with therapeutic benefits, we empower young people to thrive in both kitchen and life. Join us and savour the journey to success!

NATURE WALK, CRAFTING & PICNIC
This is a guided bushwalk where we will walk and talk about native plants and wildlife, encouraging participants to be detectives and explore the natural world.
They can be prompted to search for different types of leaves, insects, or animal tracks and document their findings in a nature journal.
To discuss their findings, at the end of this walk, we will sit down together and enjoy some healthy picnic snacks.

WATER BASED ACTIVITIES
Aqua play can have a calming effect for children with sensory processing issues. Research has shown improvements in social interactions and behaviours of those with ASD when exposed to water play.
We have various different water activities, including but not limited to:

ANIMAL INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES
Our dynamic day out is designed to help children build meaningful connections with animals, fostering empathy and compassion. We encourage mindful interactions, teaching children to move with consideration, be gentle, and maintain a calm demeanour. This experience is particularly beneficial for children with sensory sensitivities, providing a relaxing and supportive environment. Beyond that, these activities serve as a therapeutic outlet, allowing children with diverse mental health needs to express their emotions in a secure and nurturing setting.

Are you ready for an adventure? Look no further! Our hiking and camping options cater to all levels of abilities, from short hikes and backyard camping to multi-day hikes. Our programs are designed to boost confidence and teach valuable skills in the great outdoors. Get ready to learn about communication, teamwork, organization, outdoor cooking (including making damper), and ability-based outdoor learning. And as we explore the great outdoors, we'll also share fascinating information about native flora and fauna. Let's go!
Backyard Camping
We offer backyard camping and facilitate camping close to participants homes to ensure they are prepared and can access camping in a safe environment.
Hiking
Day hikes for all abilities! We offer a range of hikes for all abilities from beginners to advanced. Come explore the great outdoors with us today!
Camping
Traditional hiking is offered on our multi day hikes and retreats. Come set up a tent and look up at the stars with us. We share camfire stories amoung many other activites.
Lamington National Park
Join us as we walk though one of Gold Coasts most stunning terrains. The mountain views and waterfalls will take your breath away!

Koala, Jabiru, & Melaleuca Track Loop | Coombabah Lakelands
Enjoy walking through a range of habitats with this beautiful flat walk. Koalas, kangaroos and birds are often seen along this trail.
